It really helped my students to get involved and engaged in reading. It also helped to build our classroom library with books that the students stated they wanted to read. \r\n\r\nWe used the books for independent reading time in which students started class by reading for 15 minutes. Some students loved the books so much that they asked to borrow the book to read over the weekend. The graphic novels were also a great help for some of my more reluctant readers.
