Your generosity has provided me 2 replacement ink cartridges for my the printer in my office. This is extremely helpful for a multitide of reasons. The first reason is, I constantly have special education students come into my room for support. Being able to print off their assignments, or being able to print off additional resources with out leaving my room is HUGE! Without this ink, I would have to print to the office which is 4 minute walk from my room. That makes it almost impossible to do when I have students in my room. I also have the ability to waste less time printing off documents for my work which allows me to spend more time with my students.\r\n\r\nYour generosity also provided me a huge bag of Jolly Rancher candies. I use these candies at postive behavior reinforements. Middle school students love these small little treats when they earn them, and they are very effective for most of students. \r\n\r\nI spend alot of money throughout the year on supplies for my special education students, however I can't afford everything. My donor's support with these items has allowed to spend my money on other initiaves instead of having to make choices and not purchase everything they need to be successful. I couldn't be more thankful of all the help and support.","fullyFundedDate":1746473093255,"projectUrl":"project/middle-school-special-education-support/9276824/","projectTitle":"Middle School Special Education Support","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Willett","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9725292"},{"teacherId":9725292,"projectId":8732152,"letterContent":"Thank you very much for supporting my project! I am in charge of our special education department at Milton Somers Middle School, and this project has directly made a positive impact on the special education students that I case manage. \r\n\r\nThe 30 students that I case manage have all to some degree benefitted from the candy (positive reinforcement rewards). I have multiple students that have benefitted from using the zen garden when they are not emotionally able to access the curriculum because of self-regulation issues. Using the zen garden helps to minimize the time they are out of the classroom and missing instruction. The printer has been invaluable to me as a teacher. We have so many printer issues in our school, and our printers constantly break. This has allowed me to print off materials in my room and not waste time walking across the school to a printer that may or may not have worked. In turn, this allows me to better utilize my time helping my students. I am much more efficient because of that printer and I am able to spend more time directly supporting students with their needs. Thank you again your generosity is GREATLY appreciated!","fullyFundedDate":1735663186708,"projectUrl":"project/special-education-teacher-wish-list/8732152/","projectTitle":"Special Education Teacher Wish List","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Willett","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9725292"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_64576","usesÐǿմ«Ã½":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":671,"numTeachers":66,"percentFrplEligible":37,"percentAsian":3,"percentBlack":49,"percentWhite":29,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":9,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"6 - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"10.2:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":45.5,"schoolId":64576,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Milton M Somers Middle School on @Ðǿմ«Ã½:","schoolName":"Milton M Somers Middle School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/maryland/charles-county-public-schools/milton-m-somers-middle-school/64576"}
