Their faces lit up with excitement as they experimented, problem-solved, and shared ideas. It was incredible to see their curiosity in full bloom, and the bins have quickly become a favorite part of our day.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the STEM bins, their reaction was pure enthusiasm, they were eager to dive in and explore everything. Some even asked if they could take the projects home to show their families!\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we are building on this momentum with upcoming lessons focused on engineering design and robotics. They were more prone to listen to and follow directions in the lessons while using these manipulatives.\r\n\r\nStudents were encouraged to get a fidget toy during any lesson that they felt they needed to use them for concentration. This gave them more control over their learning by making them more aware of what they needed to stay focused.\r\n\r\nI found these fidgets to be well worth the time and effort for the children.
