By deconstructing words into morphemes (smallest unit of meaning in a word), my students are better prepared to determine their meanings. They love learning a new base word and then \"playing\" with the morphemes through games, drawings, and collaborative activities. \r\n\r\nAdditionally, this training, combined with my Orton-Gillingham certification, has helped to support my credentials as a Reading Specialist. The training I attended and materials I received have supported the growth of my content knowledge.
