Your donation gave my students access to a variety of engaging and collaborative games that have truly transformed our advisory hour into something they look forward to each week.\r\nWhen the games first arrived, the reaction was instant: \"Wait—these are for us?\" \"No way, this is actually fun!\" Students crowded around the boxes and immediately started setting up games. It was one of those moments where you could feel the energy shift. Advisory went from being a quiet or passive period to a time filled with conversation, laughter, and connection.\r\nThese games have become a consistent part of our advisory time. Students who might not usually talk to each other are teaming up, strategizing, and laughing over shared victories (and defeats). Several students who are usually pretty reserved now participate—a reminder of how these small opportunities can help kids engage and grow their confidence. Another student said, \"This is the most I've talked to people all year. I actually look forward to advisory now.\"\r\nBeyond just having fun, the games are helping students build real social skills—like patience, communication, collaboration, and even dealing with frustration in a positive way. It's been a great to see how naturally those lessons are happening through playing games.\r\nThank you for helping us create a space where students feel more connected to each other, more engaged, and just a little more joyful during their school day. We appreciate you more than you know.","fullyFundedDate":1733161036288,"projectUrl":"project/student-engagement-and-health-wellness/8950933/","projectTitle":"Student Engagement and Health & Wellness","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Clemans","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9555877"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_96038","usesÐǿմ«Ã½":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":502,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":41,"percentAsian":2,"percentBlack":12,"percentWhite":69,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":4,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"9 - 9","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"MDR District Record","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":null},"inStateSupporters":null,"schoolId":96038,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Chippewa Valley Ninth Grade Center on @Ðǿմ«Ã½:","schoolName":"Chippewa Valley Ninth Grade Center","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/michigan/chippewa-valley-school-district/chippewa-valley-9th-grade-ctr/96038"}
