We have been able to do so many art projects in the class. My students were so excited to complete our first project. For the first time ever, I was able to begin the year with an assignment that really got their creativity following. Students painted rocks with images that were important to them. They were then able to introduce themselves using the rock. That is just one of my creative assignments that we have been able to complete so far this year. \r\n\r\nThe materials you donated are exceptionally helpful with my newcomer students. These students speak a variety of languages. One thing that is universal in this world is art. Often times in the beginning of the year the only way to communicate is using a translation app. These supplies have allowed us to communicate through art. It has brought a new happiness and understanding to me room. I cannot thank you enough for that.","fullyFundedDate":1758636590862,"projectUrl":"project/express-yourself/9476453/","projectTitle":"Express Yourself!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. L.","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp3080581_orig.png?crop=272,272,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1692739751105","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3080581"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_72995","usesÐǿմ«Ã½":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":580,"numTeachers":43,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":97,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":0,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"13.5:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_MIDSIZE"},"inStateSupporters":78.0,"schoolId":72995,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about William Ford Elementary School on @Ðǿմ«Ã½:","schoolName":"William Ford Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/michigan/dearborn-public-school-district/william-ford-elementary-school/72995"}
