The materials have supported hands-on exploration, independent practice, and meaningful collaboration. They use these materials twice a week for a gentle start to the day. Seeing them work together, problem-solve, and confidently share their thinking was a powerful reminder of how much these resources elevate their learning.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the new materials, their excitement was immediate and unmistakable. Several students gasped, a few cheered, and others jumped right into exploring what everything could do. Their enthusiasm has led to stronger engagement, more focused collaboration, and a noticeable boost in motivation across the classroom.\r\n\r\nOur next steps build on this momentum. Students will be applying these materials to a multi-day project where they design, test, and reflect on how different forces shape Earth's surface. They will also use the new supplies during small-group rotations to support ongoing practice in math and reading. Thanks to our donors, my students not only have the tools they need but also the confidence and excitement to take on more complex tasks. We are deeply grateful, and I look forward to sharing even more of their growth and success as they continue to learn, create, and explore.","fullyFundedDate":1757423406765,"projectUrl":"project/sparking-innovation-bring-stem-to-life/9465957/","projectTitle":"Sparking Innovation: Bring STEM to Life for Our Students","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Grammatico","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10080796"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_70981","usesÐǿմ«Ã½":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":366,"numTeachers":19,"percentFrplEligible":67,"percentAsian":3,"percentBlack":16,"percentWhite":66,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":3,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 6","studentTeacherRatio":"19.3:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":100.0,"schoolId":70981,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Walt Disney Elementary School on @Ðǿմ«Ã½:","schoolName":"Walt Disney Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/michigan/fraser-public-schools/walt-disney-elementary-school/70981"}
