Your donations have had an immediate and incredible impact on our student baristas, who have taken great pride in running our school's coffee cart.\r\n\r\nWhen the supplies first arrived, the excitement in our classroom was amazing! Students eagerly guessed what was inside each box, and every new item added to their anticipation. Seeing their enthusiasm as they unpacked the materials made it clear how meaningful this project is to them.\r\n\r\nSince launching Gator Grounds, our baristas have been learning valuable life skills—greeting customers, taking orders, handling money, and working as a team. One of my favorite moments was watching a student who is typically shy confidently take an order and deliver it with a big smile. As well as, seeing our older baristas take charge to support and teach our younger baristas in being successful to fulfill orders. Moments like these show just how impactful this experience is, building confidence and responsibility in ways that extend beyond the classroom.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, our next focus is on the business side of things. Students will brainstorm special treats that will help us maximize profits, learning about budgeting, pricing, and profit margins in the process. This real-world application of math and decision-making is an exciting next step in their journey.\r\n\r\nNone of this would be possible without your generosity.
