Here are all the activities that we completed with the book:\r\nComparison activity between A Christmas Carol (the play) and A Christmas Carol (the graphic novel)\r\n -Powerful page analysis activity: students picked their favorite page in the graphic novel and analyzed its composition, layout, and visual elements, as well as its importance to the overall story\r\n -Table and Harkness discussions that required students to use textual evidence to analyze the book to support their points\r\n -A literary ugly Christmas sweater mini-project that required students to create an ugly sweater based on a character and write a short explanation of their artwork.\r\n\r\nWe had a great time exploring the book, and I look forward to using this in future years.
