At first they weren't sure what exactly what we were doing. I explained that it was a quiet fidget that they could use during class that shouldn't distract others. So many times they've had a fidget and had it taken it away because the noises it made were distracting others around them.\r\n\r\nThey were even more excited that we finished up just before winter break which allowed them to give their project as a gift. We did end up doing an extra step by going over their seams with a sewing machine. We thought the extra step would keep the marble from getting lost.\r\n\r\nWe greatly appreciate you donating to our class and giving us a new life experience. We originally used the Kanoodle games for our \"Math and Science\" night. What a hit! Once the kids figured out what they needed to do they didn't want to leave and go do other activities. (Our grades range from 4th to 8th.) We even had a kindergartener get halfway through the book. \r\n\r\nOnce math night was over and the games were in the classroom, my math AND science students used them in class. I had students asking to play with them when they completed their work. A couple of them even challenged each other to see who could complete a puzzle the fastest. \r\n\r\nThat tiny little game was a giant spark in the problem solving skills of more than one student. It was such a delight to watch.
