We got so many compliments from parents and other staff members.\r\n\r\nOne of the favorite items was the composition notebook paper. I used this to decorate the door for the first day of school. Students took their picture with the decorated door which also had their names on it. \r\n\r\nWe also love the rainbow checkered bulletin board paper. They couldn't believe all the options that they had. These snacks were able to last us the rest of the school year. My students were able to never miss out on a snack. I was even able to save the white cheddar popcorn for the last day of school so we could have popcorn while we watched a movie! I wish I could have taken a video of the student's faces when they walked into the room after we received this beautiful rug. They were beyond excited! Even students from my previous years come to visit me and comment on how fun and colorful my new rug is. It completely brightens our learning space and made it so inviting. We use this rug everyday! Students sit on it to partner read, choose to sit on the carpet during math time rather than stay at their seats, practice spelling words on whiteboards while sitting on the carpet during student choice time, and come to the carpet to hear directions, listen to read alouds, and during instructional time. We even had guest mystery readers come in during March is Reading Month and this carpet is large enough to fit all my students, so they were able to enjoy the experience. We truly use it all day. I have only ever had plain, inexpensive ones I could afford to purchase and they never last. This is the most expensive and beautiful thing in our classroom and it couldn't have happened without your generosity. My students were very impressed when they saw everything for the first time. \r\n\r\nOne of our favorite items from this project are the LED lights. We love to change the colors and have the lights on around the room just recently we were able to have red and green lights to help us celebrate the holidays. \r\n\r\nOur classroom happens to be an older classroom. The bulletin board pieces helped us create a bulletin board that was useful in a space that was not functional.
