The core of this project was to encourage and strengthen students' abilities to attain higher education after high school graduation through providing basic educational/living necessities. \r\n\r\nAt a time when school federal funding is uncertain, our students should not feel as though we are letting them fall through the cracks. Now, more than ever, we must strengthen our communities through platforms such as this – where we can find generosity from individuals who care about lifting up our future generations. These items will directly impact students who may not have otherwise saw a future where attaining higher education was possible for them.\r\n\r\nI believe small acts, such as providing these items and no cost to the students, will further encourage and support students who continue their education after high school. Again, thank you for seeing the potential in my students and for supporting me as an AmeriCorps College Adviser trying to provide for my students as much as I can.","fullyFundedDate":1746786041528,"projectUrl":"project/higher-education-attainment-support-low/9129545/","projectTitle":"Higher Education Attainment: Support Low-Income High School Students (Pt. 2)","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Maria","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9926094_orig.jpg?crop=627,627,x252,y92&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1739832243375","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9926094"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_72816","usesÐǿմ«Ã½":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":333,"numTeachers":19,"percentFrplEligible":68,"percentAsian":2,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":88,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":2,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"17.5:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":55.0,"schoolId":72816,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Perry High School on @Ðǿմ«Ã½:","schoolName":"Perry High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/michigan/perry-public-school-district/perry-high-school/72816"}
