Having a variety of snacks available ensures that students are not distracted by hunger and can stay focused during lessons. When students are comfortable and energized, they are better able to participate, listen, and persevere through challenging tasks. The snacks have helped create a calm, supportive classroom environment where students are ready to learn.\r\n\r\nBecause snacks are readily available, I'm able to maximize instructional time and maintain student engagement during longer learning blocks without frequent interruptions. I can focus more on teaching and supporting students academically, knowing their needs are being met. The snacks also help support students who may come to school without one, allowing all students to learn on an equal footing.","fullyFundedDate":1762732695553,"projectUrl":"project/full-bellies-focused-minds/9879962/","projectTitle":"Full Bellies, Focused Minds","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Swinson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9784901_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1762735977434","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9784901"},{"teacherId":9784901,"projectId":9478491,"letterContent":"My students are using the new snacks and classroom supplies daily, and they've already made a meaningful difference. The snacks help ensure students are able to stay focused and engaged during learning time, especially during longer reading and math blocks. The supplies are being used across subjects—students are writing, organizing their work, and completing hands-on activities with materials they didn't always have access to before. One special moment was during independent work time when a student shared how grateful they were to have what they needed without worrying about running out. It created a sense of comfort and readiness to learn for the whole class.\r\nThe excitement was immediate! Students were smiling, cheering, and asking questions as we unpacked everything together. Many of them were especially excited about the snacks and were proud to help organize the supplies for our classroom. It was clear they felt supported and cared for, knowing that someone believed in them and wanted to help their classroom succeed.","fullyFundedDate":1755738287265,"projectUrl":"project/empowering-3rd-graders-one-supply-at-a/9478491/","projectTitle":"Empowering 3rd Graders, One Supply at a Time","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Swinson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9784901_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1762735977434","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9784901"},{"teacherId":1520808,"projectId":9313906,"letterContent":"Our class is so appreciative of gift.
