I work as an academic interventionist and often support students with behavior as well, and the impact of your contribution has truly been incredible.\r\n\r\nOur students were so excited to see the rug and immediately began using it to build their fine motor skills with the cars. The bouncing chairs were also a huge hit! We've even incorporated them into our routine—students know that if they work hard, they can use the last few minutes to bounce, which has been a great motivator.\r\n\r\nMy next step is to continue building the space by adding wall decorations and resources so everything flows together. My office is a small shared space in the cafeteria, so we're working hard to make it feel bigger, cohesive, and welcoming for our students.\r\n\r\nThank you again for helping us create a space where students feel supported, motivated, and excited to learn. Your kindness is truly making a difference.","fullyFundedDate":1769177321169,"projectUrl":"project/launching-intervention-with-love-suppor/9974102/","projectTitle":"Launching Intervention With Love, Support, and Supplies","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Andrea","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10078834_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1760042137408","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10078834"},{"teacherId":2477692,"projectId":9726479,"letterContent":"I can't thank you enough for your generous donation to our dyslexia-friendly book collection. Having these resources has provided a much-needed boost to our school library, allowing for broader access for ALL of our readers. The impact of your donation will be felt for years to come.\r\n\r\nBeginning next school year, Michigan schools will be required to screen students for characteristics of dyslexia, which will undoubtedly lead to many more children being diagnosed. With your donation, those students will have immediate access to books that will help to make them more confident readers. They will be empowered knowing that there are books available to assist them in becoming proficient readers.\r\n\r\nI recently read a book to each of my classes (Kindergarten through 5th grade) in which the main character has dyslexia. We talked about what that might feel like, and how books like these can help. I had multiple students raise their hands to tell their classes that they have dyslexia, and that having these books helps them to feel included.
