Your generosity showed my secondary students (grades 6-12) there are still kind and caring people in this world. By funding this project my coteacher and I were able to provide our students with preferred snacks and classroom materials. These snacks provided opportunities for our students to avoid what they refer to as their \"hangry crash outs\" which really just means dysregulation related to hunger. As mentioned above our students were in shock. They repeatedly said things like \"Wow! All of this is for us?\", \"who would actually donate to us?\", and even \"wait there are people who actually want us get stuff like this? This is crazy.\" My personal favorite however, was \"can you tell them (the donors) they are so awesome and we are so lucky they chose us?\" \r\n\r\nWith the most sincerity in our hearts, thank you. The pencils we very much needed as a couple of my students would get frustrated and snap the pencils in half. However, being able to give them a fresh pencil allowed them to see they are worth the hardwork and deserve to have the best materials to help access their education. \r\n\r\nUnfortunately, due to moving states I will not get to be with this group of students next year. However, through your contributions to this project they learned that although the world may feel like a scary place there are always helpers. My coteacher and I go to teach them one of my favorite quotes said by the late Mr.Rogers \"When... I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, 'Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.\" \r\n\r\nThank you for being a helper.","fullyFundedDate":1746715395526,"projectUrl":"project/backpack-boost/9302056/","projectTitle":"Backpack Boost","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Johnson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6948290_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1574643319112","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6948290"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_130758","usesÐǿմ«Ã½":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":null,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":28,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":89,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":4,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Not specified","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"MDR District Record","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"UNCLASSIFIED","ncesMetroType":null},"inStateSupporters":100.0,"schoolId":130758,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Cannon Valley Special Education Cooperative on @Ðǿմ«Ã½:","schoolName":"Cannon Valley Special Education Cooperative","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/minnesota/cannon-falls-independent-school-district-252/cannon-valley-special-education-cooperative/130758"}
