My students are loving them. I now am able to enrich my flourishing readers and bring them to the next level in their reading.\r\n\r\nI have used these books to teach my top readers how to do a story map. How to go to the next level of reading- comprehension. Through these books that are a bit more challenging they have learned that stories have meaning. That reading tells a story and is fun. The books have been used to teach my students about: character, setting, plot, and how to retell the story to another person in detail!\r\n\r\nOur curriculum does not have extensions for my readers that need the challenge so I thank you (as do my students) for these books that take them to the next level, challenge them, inspire and engage them!","fullyFundedDate":1766453709615,"projectUrl":"project/beginning-chapter-books-needed/9706932/","projectTitle":"Beginning Chapter Books Needed","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Schulte","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9928516"},{"teacherId":10263280,"projectId":9717034,"letterContent":"Thank you for the train set and planes — the students were so excited to use them to build motor skills. The students this year are really excited to have free writing time. In the past I've had to give students individual pieces of paper with space for writing and drawing, but these notebooks include a space for both on each page and it's so nice for students to be able to keep their writing all in one place!\r\n\r\nAgain, thank you so much for the donations that support my students and our classroom!","fullyFundedDate":1758218125295,"projectUrl":"project/beginning-of-the-year-supplies/9561102/","projectTitle":"Beginning of the Year Supplies","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. McNeill","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7268558_orig.jpg?crop=423,423,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1657226581256","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7268558"},{"teacherId":9934274,"projectId":9176637,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donation! It's a great example of community support for early education!\r\n\r\nThe children have water bottles for use every day. It has been a warm fall and they get thirsty running around and playing outside. They love having their own water bottles and they are learning responsibility by remembering to fill it up each morning so they have water. \r\n\r\nThe Lakeshore Learning Manipulatives have been a hit. The creativity I have seen from the children is so exciting.
