The use of magnetic letters allows students to visually and kinesthetically connect sounds to graphemes, reinforcing orthographic mapping and promoting automatic word recognition.\r\n\r\nWhite boards provide immediate opportunities for practice and feedback. Students can quickly apply newly taught skills, revise their thinking, and correct errors in real time. This reduces fear of mistakes and encourages academic risk-taking, which has led to increased confidence and participation during whole-group and small-group instruction.\r\n\r\nThese materials also support differentiated instruction.
