Your generosity has made such a positive difference in our classroom, and my students use these materials every single day.\r\n\r\nBecause of your support, our classroom now has inflatable donut ball chairs, bean bags, yoga ball donut seats, and wiggle seat balance discs. These flexible seating options have given students a comfortable way to move while still staying engaged in learning.\r\n\r\nAs we all know, it can be incredibly difficult for 4- and 5-year-olds to sit still for long periods of time. These flexible seating options give my students a healthy and appropriate outlet for movement. When a student feels like they need to wiggle, they can simply go to the shelf, grab a seat, and bring it to their spot on the floor. Having the ability to choose what works best for their bodies has made such a difference.\r\n\r\nWhile the seats are a little large for some of our smaller chairs, students absolutely love using them during floor learning time. It has been wonderful to watch students who sometimes struggle with focus feel more comfortable and confident participating in classroom activities.\r\n\r\nOne of the most meaningful things I have noticed is how naturally students use them to help regulate themselves. When they feel the need to move, they quietly grab a wiggle seat and continue learning without disruption. Because of this, I have seen improvements in both classroom engagement and student behavior.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has helped create a classroom environment where students can move, focus, and learn in ways that support their individual needs. Thank you for believing in our students and for helping us create a space where they can truly wiggle, sit, and learn.","fullyFundedDate":1765243468029,"projectUrl":"project/wiggle-sit-and-learn-flexible-seating/9944914/","projectTitle":"Wiggle, Sit, and Learn: Flexible Seating for Early Learners","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Austin","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9178456_orig.png?crop=758,758,x0,y111&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1757332953440","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9178456"},{"teacherId":9178456,"projectId":9696049,"letterContent":"From the bottom of my heart, thank you for helping make a dream come true for my students. Because of your generosity, what once felt like just an idea has now become a meaningful space in our school that students use and love every day.\r\n\r\nYour donations allowed us to bring hands-on STEM learning and sensory exploration to life through themed sensory bins like ocean, baking, construction, outer space, ice cream, beach, mermaids, farm, frogs, and more. Along with building blocks, fine motor tools for sorting and scooping, sensory foam, and two beautiful light-up tables, these materials have completely transformed how my students learn and explore.\r\n\r\nWith these resources, I was able to create something I have always dreamed of for our school, a Sensory Cozy Calming Corner that could benefit all Pre-K and K students. This special space gives students a place to go when they feel overwhelmed, worried, or simply need a quiet moment to regroup. They love choosing a sensory bin, climbing into the tent, and engaging with hands-on materials that help them relax, focus, and regulate their emotions.\r\n\r\nFor young children, learning how to manage feelings and explore the world through play is just as important as academics. You helped create a foundation where students can build important skills like problem-solving, creativity, emotional regulation, and curiosity.\r\n\r\nBecause of you, my dream now has a foundation. And every time a child walks into that calming corner, digs their hands into a sensory bin, or lights up with excitement during STEM exploration, I am reminded of the kindness of people who believe in supporting classrooms like ours.\r\n\r\nYour generosity truly made a difference, and I cannot wait to continue building on this space for my students in the future.","fullyFundedDate":1765243468001,"projectUrl":"project/stem-for-the-win-with-prek-and-kindergar/9696049/","projectTitle":"STEM for the WIN with PreK and Kindergarten","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Austin","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9178456_orig.png?crop=758,758,x0,y111&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1757332953440","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9178456"},{"teacherId":9356270,"projectId":9257337,"letterContent":"I want to express our deepest gratitude for your donations to our \"Book Worms\" project. The books will provide new opportunities for discovery and learning for the students. Your support is making a real difference. The new resources, especially the science kits and models, have completely transformed our learning experience. Instead of just reading about concepts, my students are now able to see and interact with them in a tangible way.\r\n\r\nWhen I first unveiled the new materials, there was a collective gasp of excitement. Their eyes lit up when they saw the colorful models and the new tools. One student, who is usually very quiet, immediately started organizing the pieces and asking questions about how they all fit together. It was amazing to see their curiosity take over. The materials created an instant buzz of energy and a sense of shared discovery in the classroom.\r\n\r\nAfter our current project, we'll be moving on to a new unit on the human body. I'm already looking forward to using the anatomical models and diagrams to help the students visualize how our organs and systems work together. It's going to be another incredible hands-on learning experience, and I can't wait to see what they discover.\r\n\r\nThank you again for making these projects possible!
