We thank you for your generous donation to Quarles Elementary's Library.\r\n Let me give you a look into how we are using the wheel and prizes. Each student has a folder with two sheets: book levels that they read best and quiz log. They check out books on their book level. They will then take a quiz on that book after they've carefully read the book. If they make three 100s, they can come to the library and spin the wheel. This encourages kids to check out on their suggested level and to read carefully. Students may land on red, purple, blue, spin again, you choose, or mystery. Each bucket has \"themed\" items: candy, writing supplies, toys, and mystery is a mixture of fun.\r\n This has really pushed some of the reluctant readers to check out books and take AR quizzes.","fullyFundedDate":1731600973592,"projectUrl":"project/wheel-of-reading-rewarding-reading-succ/8802657/","projectTitle":"Wheel of Reading: Rewarding Reading Success","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. White","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9764152_orig.jpg?crop=1620,1620,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1726790917567","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/brandy-white"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_13950","usesÐǿմ«Ã½":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":427,"numTeachers":35,"percentFrplEligible":60,"percentAsian":4,"percentBlack":15,"percentWhite":65,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":2,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 3","studentTeacherRatio":"12.2:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_MIDSIZE"},"inStateSupporters":66.3,"schoolId":13950,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about W.J.
