This project is truly a blessing for low-income children and families. They'll be using these resources to create beautiful pictures, make cherished memories, and grow in their education. My students are so grateful for these. They truly appreciate it. My families are very happy that their children have the opportunity to receive the best education possible. My students were so excited to see the materials for the first time, eager to play with the new toys and feeling that someone believes in their education and wants them to grow in life. They couldn't wait to play with the new toys, opening boxes up with excitement. The next steps will be the children discovering what they can do with the toys, what they can build with them, and letting their creative minds explore and make new projects. I appreciate you for your donation; thank you so much from me, my family, and my students.","fullyFundedDate":1772746210443,"projectUrl":"project/making-a-difference/10080775/","projectTitle":"Making a Difference","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Saadia","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10427657"},{"teacherId":10426768,"projectId":10078139,"letterContent":"Because of your generosity, our Head Start scholars are experiencing art in a whole new way. For many of my students, this is their very first school experience—and the first time they have had access to brand-new art supplies of their own. We've been using the materials for sensory-based painting, name art projects, and color exploration activities that help build fine motor skills and early literacy connections.\r\n\r\nOne especially touching moment was during our \"simple machines\" art project. A student who often struggles to express herself used the new paints to create a bright, colorful picture of her family. She beamed with pride as she shared it with the class. It was more than just a painting—it was confidence, communication, and joy on paper.\r\n\r\nWhen I opened the boxes, there were gasps, cheers, and so many little hands eager to help. Some of my students said they had never seen so many colors before. Watching their eyes light up reminded me how meaningful these supplies are. What might seem simple can be something truly special for children in our low-income community. They felt important, valued, and excited to create.\r\n\r\nNext, we are beginning a collaborative classroom art display focused on feelings and kindness. Students will explore emotions through color and texture while building vocabulary and social-emotional skills. We'll continue strengthening fine motor development through cutting, painting, and gluing activities that prepare them for kindergarten readiness.\r\n\r\nYour support is doing so much more than providing supplies—it's giving our youngest learners confidence, creativity, and a sense of belonging. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in our little artists.","fullyFundedDate":1770055006836,"projectUrl":"project/creativity-creates-leaders/10078139/","projectTitle":"Creativity Creates Leaders","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Lun","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10426768"},{"teacherId":9494537,"projectId":10057522,"letterContent":"Thank you for supporting our STEM classroom project. Because of your kindness and belief in our students, hands-on learning is no longer just an idea—it's happening every day in our classroom.\r\n\r\nYour donation has given my students the opportunity to explore, question, design, and problem-solve in ways that truly bring science, technology, engineering, and math to life. Instead of only reading about concepts, they are building, experimenting, coding, testing, and discovering solutions firsthand. The excitement on their faces when something works—or even when it doesn't and they try again—is a powerful reminder of why experiential learning matters.\r\n\r\nThrough these STEM experiences, students are developing critical thinking skills, resilience, collaboration, and creativity. They are learning how to communicate ideas, analyze data, and persist through challenges. Most importantly, they are beginning to see themselves as scientists, engineers, and innovators.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has done more than provide materials—it has expanded possibilities. For many of my students, access to quality STEM resources is limited. Because of you, they now have tools that inspire curiosity and confidence. You are helping shape future problem-solvers who will one day contribute meaningfully to their communities and beyond.\r\n\r\nPlease know that your support has made a lasting impact. On behalf of my students and our entire classroom community, thank you for investing in their education and believing in their potential.","fullyFundedDate":1769393155001,"projectUrl":"project/lets-get-steming/10057522/","projectTitle":"Let's Get STEMing","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Jarvis","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9494537"},{"teacherId":9494537,"projectId":9008918,"letterContent":"Your generous donations have allowed our students feel at home and comfortable in our classroom!
