Students use the color-coded magnetic words and boards during literacy lessons to build sentences, practice spelling patterns, and collaborate with classmates. The flexible seating options—such as floor cushions, wobble chair feet, bouncy bands, and sensory boards—are used throughout the day to help students stay comfortable, focused, and ready to learn. One meaningful moment was seeing a student who often struggles to stay seated remain engaged and confident during a lesson simply because they were able to move while learning.\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the materials, they were incredibly excited. They were eager to try the new seating and tools and quickly noticed how the options helped them focus and feel more successful. Many students shared that having choices made learning feel calmer and more enjoyable.\r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, our next steps include continuing to integrate these resources into daily instruction, small groups, and independent work. Students will use the magnetic words to strengthen reading and writing skills while the sensory and flexible seating tools will continue to support self-regulation and attention. With my project, a little bit of moments truly equals great achievement—and these resources are helping create those moments every single day.
