The air purifier filter you helped provide has improved our classroom environment, creating a cleaner and healthier space for students to learn each day. In addition, the teacher materials such as white out, sticky notes, and other supplies have made a meaningful difference in our daily instruction, organization, and lesson preparation. These resources have quickly become an essential part of our daily classroom routine and have had a meaningful impact on student engagement, behavior, and learning. Our classroom serves young learners with diverse needs, and having flexible, hands-on materials has helped create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable, confident, and excited to learn.\r\n\r\nThe bean bag chairs have transformed our literacy block. Students use them during independent reading, small-group instruction, and calming breaks. One memorable moment occurred during reading time when a student who often struggles with attention and remaining seated chose a bean bag chair, settled in with a book, and stayed engaged for the entire session. The comfortable seating helps students regulate their bodies, reduce anxiety, and remain focused for longer periods. Many students now independently choose a bean bag when they need a quiet space to read or reset, which has encouraged self-regulation and independence.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the new materials, their excitement was immediate and joyful. Their smiles and eagerness to explore reflected how meaningful these resources are to them. They quickly took ownership of the materials and use them responsibly throughout the day.\r\n\r\nNext, students will use these tools as part of an upcoming literacy and life-skills project focused on storytelling, sequencing, and cooperative play. Students will create simple stories using the pocket chart, act them out using the kitchen set, and then read related books in the bean bag reading corner. These activities will support language development, comprehension, social skills, and independence.","fullyFundedDate":1768019705121,"projectUrl":"project/little-einstiens-ready-to-tackle-big-go/9988252/","projectTitle":"Little Einstien's Ready to Tackle Big Goals","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Daniels","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6782551_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1699433854408","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6782551"},{"teacherId":5734003,"projectId":9995381,"letterContent":"Thank you for supporting our Ðǿմ«Ã½ project and helping to fund handbells for our music class! We've already begun using them during our fine-motor and sensory exploration centers, where the students can explore textures, colors, and shapes while building early readiness skills and practicing regulation. One of my favorite moments so far was watching a small group interact at the sensory table—carefully scooping, sorting, and exploring side-by-side. Even without words, their engagement, shared smiles, and willingness to take turns showed how much the materials supported meaningful connection and learning.\r\n\r\nWhen the children first saw the sensory toys, their excitement was immediate and heartwarming. I truly cannot express my gratitude enough for you helping out in my classroom. Having the PA system provides both myself and my students with the ability to interact in a more positive manner in class.\r\n\r\nFirst of all, for me personally the PA system does a fantastic job of amplifying my voice so that I don't have to strain to be heard clearly over a large group of 5th graders. My classroom is also in a portable and I have other neighboring teachers next to me and behind me, so being able to direct the sound amplification so that it does not bother them is extremely useful. The system comes with multiple microphone options as well, which is helpful in making sure that one is always charged and ready to go.\r\n\r\nFor the students, they absolutely love using the microphone! When I'm walking around the classroom and they are participating in answering questions, I'm able to simply pass the lapel microphone over to them so that they can be heard by all of their peers. They are still a bit shy to get up in front of the class for individual presentations since it's still the beginning of the school year, but the excitement of having access to the microphone is a great motivator for the them to step up to the challenge.\r\n\r\nAgain, my students and I cannot thank you enough for your generosity that allowed this project to be completed.","fullyFundedDate":1755737478423,"projectUrl":"project/we-want-to-hear-loud-and-clear/9598908/","projectTitle":"We Want to Hear, Loud and Clear!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Fry","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/1561097"},{"teacherId":6935601,"projectId":9619425,"letterContent":"Our funded project is helping our class become better readers by providing targeted worksheets that align with our curriculum.
