Your gifts allowed us to purchase essential basic orchestra materials for our middle school program, including string instruments, bows, strings, rosin, music stands, and sheet music.\r\nBefore the campaign, limited supplies meant students shared instruments, which slowed progress and reduced participation. Now, more students are joining orchestra, rehearsals sound fuller, and beginners are advancing faster.\r\nThe materials have boosted engagement, focus, and teamwork. Students are building confidence, discipline, and friendships through music. Many show better concentration that carries over to other classes.\r\nThese donations are creating lasting impact—fostering creativity, resilience, and joy in our young musicians. With this project I have been able to provide each classroom with kits that students can use when dealing with overwhelming emotions. Students can take a moment to utilize stress balls, and fidget toys so that they can feel more regulated and ready to learn. Students in my office have also reported how much they love the weighted stuffed animal that I was able to get from this project. They don't always realize why I am handing them a stuffed animal until they hold it and realize how calming it can be. We are also exicted to be able to incoroporte the use of the rhythm sticks next year so that students can continue to practice regulation strategies.","fullyFundedDate":1768413514237,"projectUrl":"project/supporting-middle-school-mental-health-a/9994852/","projectTitle":"Supporting Middle School Mental Health and Wellbeing","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Teves","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7617553_orig.jpg?crop=430,430,x0,y37&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1635348213906","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7617553"},{"teacherId":10409667,"projectId":10035024,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous support. The candy and fidgets have been incredibly effective motivators. My students are excited to earn rewards, and the fidgets provide immediate support for focus and engagement during lessons.\r\n\r\nThe classroom decor has transformed our space into a warm, inviting place where students feel comfortable and inspired. Being able to bring an iPad outside onto the field, playground, or blacktop has completely changed how smoothly our class runs.\r\n\r\nOne of the most important ways it helps is with attendance. In PE, students often meet in different locations depending on the activity or weather. In the past, I had to take paper attendance, keep track of it while managing equipment and students, and then later return to my classroom to enter it into the system. That meant extra time, extra steps, and more room for error.\r\n\r\nNow, with the iPad, I can take attendance instantly from wherever we are — whether we're on the soccer field, at the track, or outside for fitness stations. Attendance is recorded in real time and automatically synced to our school system. This improves accuracy, saves instructional time, and ensures student safety because I can quickly verify who is present without leaving the activity area. If there's ever a question about a student's whereabouts, I have immediate access to accurate information.","fullyFundedDate":1768932708643,"projectUrl":"project/being-connected-outside/10011040/","projectTitle":"Being Connected Outside","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Reid","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-10_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8139899"},{"teacherId":7759331,"projectId":10015801,"letterContent":"I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to each and every donor who so generously contributed to my classroom. Your support has had a meaningful and immediate impact on my students and our learning environment, and I am truly grateful for your belief in the importance of education. Because of your kindness, my classroom has received new scientific calculators, several items to make the room more welcoming and inviting, and high-powered pencil sharpeners that students use every single day.\r\n\r\nThe new scientific calculators have been one of the most exciting additions for students. Many of my students had previously shared calculators, relied on outdated devices, or struggled to complete assignments efficiently without consistent access to the proper tools. Now, every student can fully participate in lessons that involve problem-solving, data analysis, and higher-level math concepts. Having reliable calculators allows students to focus on understanding mathematical reasoning instead of worrying about whether they have the tools they need. This has increased student confidence, reduced frustration, and encouraged more active participation during lessons. Students feel empowered when they can independently check their work and explore math concepts with confidence, and that sense of independence has made a noticeable difference in classroom engagement.\r\n\r\nThe items that helped make the classroom more inviting have also played an important role in student happiness and learning. A welcoming environment signals to students that they are valued and that the classroom is a safe, positive place to learn. Since these changes were made, students have commented on how much they enjoy being in the room and how it feels more comfortable and encouraging. When students feel relaxed and supported, they are more willing to take academic risks, ask questions, and collaborate with peers. These seemingly small improvements have helped create a classroom culture where students feel proud of their space and motivated to do their best work.\r\n\r\nEven the high-powered pencil sharpeners—something that might seem simple—have had a surprisingly big impact. Before, dull pencils often caused interruptions, wasted time, and frustration. Now, students can quickly sharpen their pencils and get right back to learning. This small efficiency keeps lessons moving smoothly and helps students stay focused. Many students have expressed excitement about using the sharpeners, and it has become one less barrier between them and their work.\r\n\r\nOverall, your generosity has directly supported math learning and student success. These materials have improved daily instruction, boosted student morale, and created a classroom environment where students feel prepared, supported, and excited to learn. Thank you for investing in my students and in the future of education. Your contributions truly make a difference, and my students and I are deeply appreciative of your support.","fullyFundedDate":1768496208046,"projectUrl":"project/help-nevada-students-thrive-in-math/10015801/","projectTitle":"Help Nevada Students Thrive in Math","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Lemay","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7759331_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1642223430284","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7759331"},{"teacherId":9580350,"projectId":9538786,"letterContent":"Our orchestra students, ranging from beginners to advanced players across violins, violas, cellos, and basses, often come from families where purchasing high-quality accessories is a challenge.
