Each student can now walk with dignity knowing they are so fresh and so clean from the inside out.\r\n\r\nWe received sweatpants for boys and girls, bras, underwear for boys and girls in different sizes. Meeting the essential needs of a student allows them to not only look good, but feel good. Our weather has been very unpredictable. The sweatpants will keep our students warm during our cold weather days. \r\n\r\nWhen our students had the opportunity to go through and pick their sizes, they became excited. The moment of gratitude was priceless. We never know how much of an impact donations have made until you experience it in living color, live on the spot! Our children are going home today with smiles on their faces thanks to all of our generous donors.\r\n\r\nYour donations speak volumes if you never say a word. Action speaks louder than words! I even have students telling their friends about the prizes they recieve, and students have came into my classroom asking how they can earn a reward.\r\n\r\nCurrently, we are working to improve our typing speeds and complete all of our assignments. I cannot wait to introduce the colorful, mini ducks during the coding unit. Using VR goggles like the Meta Quest, students explored historical sites, museums, and environments in an interactive way rather than just reading about them in a textbook. This hands-on experience helped students better understand history and geography, increased engagement, and made learning more memorable and meaningful.\r\n\r\nWhat excites students most about this technology is the feeling of actually being inside the lesson. They are able to look around, interact with their surroundings, and explore at their own pace. Students were especially excited to visit interactive museums and world landmarks that would normally be impossible to reach. The immersive experience sparked curiosity, led to thoughtful questions, and encouraged deeper discussions in class.\r\n\r\nSeveral students who typically struggle with focus or motivation showed increased participation when using the VR headsets. Visual and hands-on learners, in particular, benefited from being able to see and experience concepts rather than just hearing about them.
