My third graders felt special to the be the first ones to \"test\" the beanbags!\r\n\r\nCurrently, I am expecting a shipment of new titles for the library collection. Students now know exactly where materials belong, which has increased independence and reduced confusion. The floor and ceiling markers help guide movement, and students take pride in keeping our classroom neat and functional.\r\n\r\nWe are now beginning to use the flexible tech and hands-on STEM tools for exploration and collaboration. Students are engaging in problem-solving activities and working together more effectively. My students are used to our everyday classroom instruments, so when I unboxed the beautiful new Kala ukuleles, their eyes went wide. They loved how they looked, but the real magic happened when I showed them where to plug them in. Once they realized these ukuleles could connect to a speaker, their faces lit up. They felt like real rockstars!\r\n\r\nWe immediately put our new gear to work. The Peterson tuner is amazing—it helps me get the ukuleles perfectly in tune so much faster, which gives us more time to actually play. Recently, a student who is usually very quiet got to plug the ukulele into our sound system using our new cable. When she strummed her first chord and the loud, clear sound filled the room, the rest of the class cheered for her. It gave her a huge boost of confidence!\r\n\r\nThese arrived in time for our big concert and were a big help. Because we can finally plug in and turn up the volume, the music didn't get lost in our MP Room.
