They have created new opportunities for hands-on exploration, collaboration, and active participation.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, these materials have been instrumental in helping students build essential skills—especially play skills, an area where many of our students experience difficulty. Through guided and independent play, students are learning how to interact with peers, take turns, problem-solve, and communicate more effectively. These skills are critical not only for academic growth, but also for social and emotional development.\r\n\r\nWe are incredibly grateful for your generosity and belief in our students. Because of you, our classroom is a more engaging, supportive, and successful learning environment. Thank you for making a lasting difference in the lives of our students.","fullyFundedDate":1757013590548,"projectUrl":"project/materials-for-success/9611069/","projectTitle":"Materials for Success","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Roque","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-10_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10050279"},{"teacherId":10050279,"projectId":9397223,"letterContent":"My students are using the new resources in our sensory and calm-down areas to help them self-regulate and stay focused throughout the day. Materials like the bean bag, trampoline, and special seating provide students with a variety of ways to meet their sensory needs and manage their emotions. When they first saw the new materials, they were thrilled! The students eagerly explored each item, sharing the space and discovering which tools help them feel calm and engaged.\r\n\r\nThese resources bring a sense of independence and choice to the classroom, allowing students to take an active role in managing their own emotions and energy levels. They add a calming, supportive element to our learning environment and help create a classroom where students feel safe, understood, and empowered. By incorporating these tools, my students are better able to participate in activities and develop important self-regulation skills that will benefit them both in and out of the classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1749601119804,"projectUrl":"project/sensory-tools-for-success-supporting-yo/9397223/","projectTitle":"Sensory Tools for Success: Supporting Young Learners With Special Needs","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Roque","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-10_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10050279"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_109209","usesÐǿմ«Ã½":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":null,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":82,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":13,"percentWhite":5,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":70,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Not specified","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"MDR District Record","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":null},"inStateSupporters":61.7,"schoolId":109209,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Mabel G.
