The Biomedical Academy students visited the classroom of the specially-abled students in the ACHIEVE program, taking a first step in bridging our communities. The ACHIEVE students showed the Biomed students how they had made the logo stickers using the printer to first print them out onto the sticker paper and then the Cricut machine to cut them out. It was a short visit, and a little more quiet than we expected, but there were smiles and \"thank you's\" going around.\r\n\r\nHowever, the conversation afterward was the real reward. The ACHIEVE teacher, Mrs. Beam, told us \"You can come back after the New Year during this period and we can put the logo onto shirts!\" The Biomed students were genuinely excited to have more time to spend with ACHIEVE students. \"Can we do that after winter break?\" \r\n\r\nNot only did the teachers get a glimpse of the potential of these resources but the students did, too.
