The pencil sharpener (I only put one out) so I can save the other one when this one gets dull is truly amazing! Until I received that pencil sharpener we were using the hand crank ones! My students love how quick the pencils get sharpened. I even have other students from other classes coming to sharpen! We recently had a state testing trial where I was able to sharpen 21 pencils in 2 minutes because it was so efficient.\r\nMy students were so excited to use these new materials. We even took our experiments outdoors to make giant bubbles, compare homemade versus store-bought solutions, and design our own wands of all shapes and sizes to explore how geometry affects bubble formation.\r\n\r\nAs an extension, students applied what they learned about chemistry and mixtures to engineer their very own bubble formulas—a perfect blend of creativity and science!
