The atmosphere of this space is much more uplifting than it once was. The carpet brightens and adds texture to the room, the bins create ample storage for our class whiteboards, the pillowcases make the reading corners much more comfortable. \r\n\r\nIt is important that this school library be a bright space within this school as this year the students visit the library once a week for 40 minutes. The content I teach is very important and teaching it in an enduring space makes a world of a difference to both the students and myself. \r\n\r\n In my course, Media Literacy, students will learn about the various types of Media, Informational literacy skills as well as enhance their literacy skills and literature appreciation. At some point this school year, students will learn how to create a book, create a podcast, identify genres, and write book reviews.
