Your generosity has transformed the way our classroom functions each day.\r\n\r\nThe large bins have already made a huge impact. I now have organized spaces for homework sheets, skills practice pages, assessments, and all the important papers that used to clutter our counters. This has made it much easier to prep lessons, stay ahead on planning, and quickly find exactly what my students need. It has also helped our daily routines run more smoothly, everything has a clear home, and transitions are faster and calmer.\r\n\r\nThe smaller bins have been just as powerful. I've started using them to store hands-on learning materials like the dots for our ten frames at each table, dot stamps, and other math tools. Students can now access the materials they need without digging through mixed-up supplies. This independence has boosted their confidence and has kept our work time focused and productive.\r\n\r\nBecause of your support, our classroom is no longer just cleaner, it's more functional, more accessible, and more supportive of the way young learners thrive. You've helped create a space where my students can think clearly, stay organized, and stay excited about learning.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in my class and helping us build a learning environment that truly works for little minds with big potential!","fullyFundedDate":1764087365191,"projectUrl":"project/organized-spaces-for-organized-little-mi/9922567/","projectTitle":"Organized Spaces for Organized Little Minds","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Chauca","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9090581_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1688424494824","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9090581"},{"teacherId":6870732,"projectId":9320940,"letterContent":"Your donation arrived at my school last week!! My students were ecstatic to see the box arrive as they knew what was inside!! We opened the box immediately and put it together that day! While it needs some modifications for some of my students, others were able to use it immediately! The smiles on the children's faces as they sat inside and moved even a few inches independently was amazing!! \r\n The students, who usually do not wait well, waited for their turn and once in the seat couldn't believe that they were finally able to move around the gym without waiting for someone to help them. The smiles and laughs were priceless. We have a long way to go to learn to steer and accurately move around but they are elated and it is all because of you!! Thank you so much!! You have truly changed these children's school experience. It is also an amazing tool to teach the students to use the same type of joystick they will one day have on a power wheelchair.","fullyFundedDate":1746667272991,"projectUrl":"project/free-to-move-in-pe/9320940/","projectTitle":"Free to Move in PE!!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Kelly","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6870732"},{"teacherId":6870732,"projectId":8953267,"letterContent":"The children are loving the equipment you helped to purchase! They were so excited to see each new item and try new activities! The students spent time exploring the new items when they arrived and were excited for the lessons to come! \r\n The soccer balls and soccer nets are allowing the children to play \"real\" soccer! They felt like real soccer players having a real soccer field to play on. The slower, soft balls allowed all the children to participate at their level without fear of getting hit by the ball. It was amazing to see all of my students play together! \r\n The beanbags/buckets, parachute and rocket launchers have given the children some fun new activities for days when PE is in the classroom. The beanbags and parachute are a fun way to turn the classroom into a new adventure! There are so many great ways we have used these items for learning! The buckets have been used for targets and cup stacking too! \r\n All of this is thanks to your generosity! We will continue to use these items throughout the year and will think of you every time we take them out.","fullyFundedDate":1733179064202,"projectUrl":"project/throwing-and-kicking-our-way-into-the-ne/8953267/","projectTitle":"Throwing and Kicking Our Way Into the New Year!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Kelly","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6870732"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_103739","usesÐǿմ«Ã½":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":null,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":89,"percentAsian":4,"percentBlack":43,"percentWhite":23,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":23,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"US Census Data for the surrounding geographic area","gradesServed":"Not specified","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"Census ZCTA","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":null},"inStateSupporters":74.0,"schoolId":103739,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about PS 256Q @ PS 253Q on @Ðǿմ«Ã½:","schoolName":"PS 256Q @ PS 253Q","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/new-york/district-75-city-wide-programs/ps-256q-public-school-253q/103739"}
