This project enabled me to provide snow pants and boots to many children in our school who did not have them. It's no fun being 5 or 6 years old and having to stand on the blacktop while others play in the snow. Children were thrilled to be able to play outside in the snow with their friends. This was especially important during our very cold, very snowy winter season in New York! \r\n\r\nChildren easily borrowed boots or snow pants from bins in my classroom. No questions asked. Anyone who needed winter clothes could access them. Students were very excited with the new snow pants and boots.
