My students were SO excited to see the new rug to warm up our space, providing them a comfortable and clean place to work. One child said, \"Wow! Someone who doesn't even know us gave this to us?\" They are so thankful for your generosity. \r\n\r\nMy students often come hungry and love that they have snacks to choose from while they work. I have had students earn rewards incentives for great behavior that ask for a snack to take home instead of picking out of my prize bin. I am so glad to have a variety of options for them to choose from.\r\n\r\nLast, but not least, I was able to gift all of my students their choice of color in a hat and glove set and they were so grateful! Many of my students do not come with either and the bitter cold temps have been a struggle! We set all these amazing prizes in the upstairs glass case so all the students could see each item up close. Being able to visually see all the items increased the students' excitement and eagerness to purchase raffle tickets.\r\n\r\nDuring the last week of school, the raffle ended and the brown bags were filled with raffle tickets from hopeful students! I personally went on the morning show and shared the lucky winners of each prize.
