They learned so much information about the skeletal system! \r\n\r\nThanks to your generous donations we were able to dive into a rich text about the skeletal system. I also lined up Dr. Josh Hall to come and give a presentation about skeletal, muscular and dermatological systems. The kids had many interesting (and occasionally off topic) questions for him. We wrapped up our unit today with an owl pellet dissection. They were so intrigued and engaged! It was amazing to see how the knowledge they had gained throughout this unit came to life when they were trying to find the various bones. They loved utilizing the tweezers and magnifying glasses that were purchased with donors choose funds to break apart and explore their pellet. They also utilized the bone identification charts to try and discover which animal was that owls meal! \r\n\r\nYour support for our rural school means so much. I love exposing them to new and exciting topics and letting them explore things that are interesting to them. I ask for you to consider future projects down the road that will help fund these hands on activities for my students.","fullyFundedDate":1750984177526,"projectUrl":"project/mrs-canipes-bone-detectives/9427350/","projectTitle":"Mrs. Canipe’s Bone Detectives","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Canipe","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10061450_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1750607981255","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10061450"},{"teacherId":8766432,"projectId":9212626,"letterContent":"Through the generosity of Ðǿմ«Ã½, I was able to purchase a comprehensive reading curriculum from Teachers Pay Teachers, providing teachers with engaging, standards-aligned lessons and differentiated resources tailored to meet the diverse needs of students. As a result, students are demonstrating stronger reading comprehension, vocabulary development, and motivation to read, while teachers report increased instructional flexibility and improved alignment with grade-level standards.
