Once I added new books, kiddos were using a sign in sheet so they could take turns in the center. I've even had to add timers because the list was so long. This was my first year in this classroom and there were several areas throughout the classroom that were lacking in \"needs\". Imagine playing on the floor everyday without a rug to sit on? You took care of that issue and now my kiddos have a fantastic spacious rug in their Block Center! Our Music Center had a few things, but nothing to really promote \"movement\" or dance. With your gift my kiddos now have fun items that they use almost every day! As an added bonus, they're learning self help skills by folding up/winding up their items and placing them where they belong. \r\n Then there's the items that indirectly help the children...cleaning wipes for our Smart Board make a HUGE difference! Let's not forget the beautiful rocking chair for me. For years I always just sat in the tiny chairs made for the kiddos! Now I can sit like a grown up during Morning Circle Time, afternoon Literacy Group and Story Time.
