They loved retelling \"the Very Hungry Caterpillar\", and got a little challenge from figuring out the correct life cycles from the pack. Before this, a lot of my students didn't realize that frogs came from eggs! Science has always been something that I make sure that I go out of my way to teach, and this was a perfect supplement!\r\n\r\nOn the other side of things were the art materials. The puffy paint had been something that we had created on our own before, but the new, bright colors were a fun surprise! We used it immediately and I had to quickly limit the use or it would've been gone that same day! We also did a fun activity with stamps and the new ink that we received, creating a different way to showcase a beloved book, \"Chicka Chicka Boom Boom!\" by putting letter stamps all over a drawing of a coconut tree.
