When I entered this classroom at the beginning of the year, the only books were extremely old, damaged, and faded. These books introduce so many new and interesting topics and brighten our read aloud time. \r\nWe have a lot of students who struggle with emotional regulation and since we do not have a curriculum, these books are an opportunity to teach social-emotional skills.
