We are writing to express our heartfelt gratitude for your generous contributions to the third-grade students in our small community. Your support has played a significant role in fostering both their academic and personal growth, and we are thrilled to share the impact of your donation.\r\n\r\nOur third graders are at a crucial stage in their educational journey, where they are developing foundational skills that will serve as the building blocks for their future success. Thanks to your kindness, we were able to provide them with the necessary supplies for hands-on activities that have enriched their learning experiences. These activities have not only made learning more engaging but have also helped them understand the real-world applications of their lessons.\r\n\r\nOne of the most exciting projects we embarked on was focused on environmental awareness. With the supplies you provided, the students participated in various activities that taught them about their individual impact on the environment. They learned about recycling, conservation, and the importance of taking care of our planet. These lessons were not only informative but also inspiring, as the students began to see themselves as active participants in creating a sustainable future.\r\n\r\nThe hands-on nature of the activities allowed our students to explore and discover in a way that traditional classroom settings might not always offer. For instance, they engaged in projects like building small models of eco-friendly homes, planting gardens, and conducting experiments to understand energy conservation. Such activities have sparked their curiosity and encouraged them to ask questions, think critically, and collaborate with their peers.\r\n\r\nMoreover, the students were given the opportunity to work in teams, which fostered a sense of community and collaboration. They learned valuable skills such as communication, problem-solving, and teamwork, which are essential for their personal growth and future endeavors. These experiences have not only boosted their confidence but have also instilled a sense of responsibility towards their community and the environment.\r\n\r\nThe joy and enthusiasm that filled the classroom during these activities were palpable. It was truly a delight to witness the students' eyes light up with excitement as they engaged with the materials and each other. They took pride in their accomplishments and were eager to share what they learned with their families and friends. This ripple effect of learning and sharing extended beyond the classroom and into the community, reinforcing the importance of education and community involvement.\r\n\r\nYour contribution has made a lasting impact on our students and our community. It has shown them that there are people who care about their education and future. It has also provided them with the tools and inspiration needed to dream big and work towards achieving their goals.\r\n\r\nIn conclusion, we cannot thank you enough for your generosity and support. Your donation has not only enhanced the educational experiences of our third graders but has also played a part in shaping future leaders who are aware and considerate of their environment. We look forward to keeping you updated on their progress and the continued success of our programs.\r\n\r\nThank you once again for believing in our students and for your commitment to education and community development. Your support truly makes a difference.","fullyFundedDate":1741118722515,"projectUrl":"project/creating-a-global-learning-environment-f/9134686/","projectTitle":"Creating a Global Learning Environment for Students","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Blair","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8502437_orig.jpg?crop=2320,2320,x0,y30&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1740951800793","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8502437"},{"teacherId":6504274,"projectId":9305840,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donation of headphones and Clorox wipes to our classroom. Your support has made a meaningful difference in our students' daily learning environment, and we are truly grateful.\r\n\r\nThe headphones have had an immediate impact on how my students are able to learn using technology. In our classroom, students use devices for reading programs, math practice, research, and skill-building activities that adjust to their individual learning levels. Having their own headphones helps students stay focused, block out distractions, and fully engage with the lessons they are listening to. This is especially important for students who need extra support with attention or who benefit from hearing instructions read aloud. Because of your donation, technology time is now more productive, independent, and less stressful for everyone.\r\n\r\nThe Clorox wipes have also been incredibly helpful. With a room full of active students sharing supplies and devices, keeping materials clean is essential. Students take pride in helping wipe down their desks and shared items, which builds responsibility while also keeping our classroom healthier. This has helped us reduce the spread of germs and maintain a safer learning space.\r\n\r\nWhat excites students most is having tools that make them feel prepared and comfortable. Many of them love using their headphones because it makes learning on the computer feel special and \"just for them.\" I've seen students who usually struggle to focus stay engaged for longer periods when they can clearly hear their lessons without background noise. A few students who are easily overwhelmed by sound have especially benefited — the headphones help them feel calm and more in control of their learning.\r\n\r\nYour kindness has supported not just our academics, but also our classroom community and well-being. Thank you for investing in our students and helping create an environment where they can learn, grow, and feel cared for each day.","fullyFundedDate":1746786211441,"projectUrl":"project/headphones-and-cleanliness/9305840/","projectTitle":"Headphones and Cleanliness","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Cooper","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6504274_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1620450058234","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6504274"},{"teacherId":2033960,"projectId":9142651,"letterContent":"We have a weekly show that I've been running for years. One specific moment that stood out was during our public speaking unit. For many of my students, this was their first time using a microphone, and their faces absolutely lit up with excitement!\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, they were in awe. The supplies, snacks, and especially the social-emotional learning tools—like the stuffed animals and sensory items—created a comforting, welcoming space. One student even said, \"This feels like home.\" That meant the world to me.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we're starting a county research project where students will use the materials to create posters and presentations about different parts of Oregon. They'll be using their speaking skills, teamwork, and creativity—skills that you've helped nurture. Every student deserves to feel like they belong and the books, posters, tools, and materials in this project has allowed this to happen.\r\nFirst, the books around character traits supports me teaching the students how to be successful in the world and solve problems in healthy ways. I was also able to get books centered around different perspectives, a variety of cultures, and people that can show STEM in a positive light.\r\nSecond, I was able to get posters and art materials that help my students be seen. Showing a diverse selection of people in a positive light helps my students feel like they are being represented in the classroom. The same goes with the art supplies. Helping students see that all colors are beautiful and that white is not the default will support their growing perspective of themselves.
