From interactive notebooks, art projects, escape rooms, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, the possibilities are endless. Our students use colored pencils a lot and many of them are too small to fit into the pencil sharpener. It is also nice to have multiple pencils of the same color, so that students can use the same color at the same time.\r\nThe Alphabet Magna Tiles are used for building words. My younger students enjoy playing with our regular Magna-Tiles, so I thought why not try Alphabet Magna-Tiles. Well, they have been a hit! The magnets click when they are put together, so the students really feel like they are building words. Our students have found that the black Expo Markers erase better from their white boards, than the colored Expo markers. \r\nWe use the different colored Sharpies for art, math, social studies projects when we need the project to stand out with color. The finger spacers are for my beginning writers so that words aren't crowded together when they are writing. \r\nThe Play-Doh is used by all of our students for everything from stress relief to making shapes, to learning how to form letters. My students are learning to count by two's, five's and ten's and the Rekenrek helps them to do that.\r\nThe Marble Run has been fun for my first graders because the have to come up with a design and put it together, so the marble travels down a path. They love the light-up marbles. We have been using the Ready to Write Cards for my beginning writers. We also use the stamps to send handmade cards signed by our students as thank yous to send to people in the community who donate to our school. Currently, we are working on stories and we are trying to add elements like movement, color, perspective... to the stories to make them more descriptive and exciting. It would be great to offer our students a yellow piece of paper to write their final draft on. Instead, we received different scooter boards, snacks, and prizes for my students. The scooter boards we received were pastel colors, and my students are enjoying using them during our time in the gym. We also use the scooters for math and have the kids roll the scooters to pick up numbers to make an addition or multiplication equation.\r\nThe snacks and fuzzy pencils we received will help our students not be hungry and give them another prize to pick out from our prize box. Some of our students travel a long way to get to school and are hungry when they arrive first thing in the morning.
