Your contribution made it possible for our students—many of whom have disabilities, including autism—to participate in an authentic, hands on learning experience that has already had a remarkable impact. This project has given our students meaningful opportunities to practice essential life skills such as taking orders, sequencing steps, organizing materials, collecting and fulfilling orders, and delivering items throughout the school. These are not just classroom tasks; they are real world skills that build confidence, independence, and a sense of purpose. The support from Power Home Remodeling also allowed us to take the students on a field trip to the grocery store to purchase additional items not covered by the project funding. This outing became a powerful learning experience in itself, giving students the chance to navigate a community setting, make choices, compare prices, and work collaboratively—all skills that will serve them well beyond the classroom. Because of your generosity, our students are not only learning—they are thriving. They feel proud of their work, excited about their responsibilities, and connected to their school community in new and meaningful ways.\r\nThank you for believing in our students and investing in their growth.
