What you have all given me and, more importantly, the students in my classroom cannot honestly be described in words. I have worked for this particular school for over two years and have been purchasing close to all the materials needed to run a functioning, cohesive classroom. The rugs you donated were so needed and beyond appreciated by the paraprofessionals in my classroom, the children in my classroom, the families of the children in my classroom, and me. The materials you supplied us with may have gone quickly; however, any help is huge help! Each morning, three of my students head straight to the reading corner where the Bojo rainbow rug lies and prior to that rug being there, few students ever went to that area of the room without being asked to. It is now the most popular room in the class. \r\n I teach an Autistic Support class with ten students, ages ranging from six to nine. They are very intelligent and notice everything. I loved the looks on their faces when they saw the new rugs and other supplies you donated to us. I wish I could post a picture of the kiddos because other pictures do not do what you have given us justice.\r\n I have always had a very difficult time asking for help, and I enjoy being the giver, so even writing this card is somewhat hard as it is out of my comfort zone. With that said, I am so gratful for your support and generosity. I am still in shock people are so kind to donate so much to a teacher and her class.","fullyFundedDate":1756103398703,"projectUrl":"project/special-ed-class-needs-your-help/9640795/","projectTitle":"Special Ed Class Needs Your Help","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Jessica","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10214177_orig.png?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1755847056328","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10214177"},{"teacherId":514610,"projectId":9287017,"letterContent":"Your generous donations have helped our school year begin on the right foot. When students have what they need, it makes learning a bit easier. \r\nFormer students have come to visit our classroom and are jealous of our new headphone options. They wish they had them last school year! Students are thankful for the opportunity to borrow a missing supply. They are respectful when using our new equipment as well. \r\nAs our school year progresses, students will continue to utilize the needed supplies that you were able to give to us. We will create projects about constellations using our new construction paper. Your thoughtfulness has truly made a huge difference in our lives and daily classroom routines. We are very appreciative of the stools and benches that were purchased for our classroom. The benches and stools have provided flex and optional seating that a traditional classroom doesn't. We can work in pairs, play games with partners or small groups. The benches also provides a hub for sharing strategies and discussing our thinking. Last, but not least, the stools and benches have provided us with opportunities to be leaders and foster confidence through our fish bowl protocol. It has been so exciting to have other places to sit and complete work besides a desk. We can't wait to be assigned benches when we have to work in pairs or triads.\r\nOnce again, thank you from the bottom of our cushy stools and the luxe feel of our benches for everything that you have done for our classroom.
