The next day was a two-hour delay due to weather in PA, and on those days our school does not provide breakfast-- which means hungry scholars. The poptarts and granola bars were consumed for breakfast. This meant my kids were able to focus on their learning, not a grumbly belly. As a teacher, there is no better feeling than knowing I am providing what my scholars need so that they can better focus on their learning. I am very grateful for the extreme generosity of this funding opportunity. Your donation actually impacted 120 scholars, not just 60. \r\n\r\nMy 5th graders were so excited to receive these gifts. Immediately they started creating with the two bags of air dry clay. Into the new year, many have been using their new erasable pens and invisible ink pens for their math work- which brings new excitement and enthusiasm to math.
