As I reflect on the beginning of this school year, I am so grateful to you for your generosity. The piano stool project has had a huge impact on the learning environment of my classroom. Not needing to shuffle chairs from the regular classroom area to each piano and back during lessons has helped me to increase instructional time, maintain a calmer and more orderly space and most importantly, allow students more time to practice their instruments!\r\n\r\nWhen the packages arrived, the kids were so excited to help open them and unpack them. They really liked the different colors and enjoyed setting up patterns so that no two color stools were side by side. Middle schoolers love to be helpers, and this was a job that they really enjoyed. \r\n\r\nAs the year continues, they are becoming more independent as musicians and their individual practice time increases a little bit each day. I am so happy that you have helped me to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for them to grow as young people and also as musicians.
