The gorgeous rug has made our classroom so warm and cozy. I teach in a Title 1 school where funds are not provided to \"decorate\" a classroom. Those resources come directly out of my pocket. I would never have been able to purchase a rug as nice as the one you so graciously funded. I place a high value on independent reading. This rug has created a large area for students to get comfortable and enjoy books of their choice. A student walked in on the first day I had it and said, \"it feels so comfortable in here now.\" Another one said, \"I just want to lay down and get cozy on the new rug.\" I looked over during independent reading and two girls were propped up on a pillow enjoying a book together. They were laughing and bonding over a shared love of a particular book. That experience was made possible because of your generosity.\r\n\r\nYour gift has completed changed the atmosphere of our classroom. A cozy, inviting space helps my students to feel like when they walk into our room it's a home, away from home.
