We have been able to use the different math materials in their centers. I have been pleased to offer these options to my students as additional practice. \r\n\r\nI have been able to use the Jumbo Magnetic Ten Frames and Number Bonds to model addition and subtraction concepts to my class. Then, my students move to small group stations where they were able to use items such as House of Number Buddies math game and SCRIBBLEDO Number Bonds 9\"x12\" Small White Board Dry Erase Sheets to practice the skill. \r\n\r\nI have been able to do that with every math unit that these materials connect with (money, time, place value, etc). For example, we are using Jumbo Colorful Magnetic Base Ten Blocks and other related materials for our current unit on place value. The students love to use the cushions while they are in their reading station. They are often reading individually or with a partner, and these help them define their space and get comfortable. The two wobbly chairs complete the set at my table for small group instruction. The students are enjoying these seats, and I find that they are more centered and focused.\r\n\r\nThe math manipulatives have been organized in the pencil boxes, making it easier for the students to work in their centers. I have been able to set up stations for the students to be able to work and feel productive.
