Because of your generosity, our students now have access to a new iPad, a recording stand, microphones, and an overall improved setup that has completely transformed how they learn, create, and collaborate.\r\n\r\nUsing technology in a school setting goes beyond simply consuming content—it's about creation, communication, and problem-solving. With this new equipment, students are learning how to plan, script, record, and produce a daily broadcast for our entire campus. They are developing real-world skills such as public speaking, teamwork, digital literacy, and responsible technology use. Students are no longer just announcing information; they are learning how to clearly communicate messages, troubleshoot technical issues, and take ownership of a project that impacts their whole school community.\r\n\r\nThe most exciting part for students has been the professional feel of the new setup. The microphones and recording stand make them feel like they are running a real news station, and the improved audio and video quality has boosted their confidence tremendously. Students take extra pride in their work because they know it looks and sounds better—and that their peers are genuinely paying attention. It has raised the bar for what they expect from themselves.\r\n\r\nSeveral students who were once hesitant to speak in front of others have truly thrived with this technology. Some students prefer working behind the scenes, managing sound, camera angles, or setup, while others have discovered a new confidence as on-air anchors. Students who don't always shine in a traditional classroom setting have found a place to excel, contribute, and be seen as leaders.\r\n\r\nYour support has not only improved our morning announcements—it has given students a voice, a sense of responsibility, and hands-on experience with tools that prepare them for the future. Thank you for believing in our students and investing in their learning.","fullyFundedDate":1763597677974,"projectUrl":"project/lights-camera-upgrading-our-broadcast/9877906/","projectTitle":"Lights, Camera! The more proficient players were happy that more of their friends could learn to play better so they could play with them more. \r\n\r\nOur jigsaw puzzlers were super excited to have more jigsaw puzzles to pick from to work on.
