Each day, my students come in eager to pick out a fidget item to help them get through the day. I have seen how, when my students begin to get overwhelmed, they are learning to use these fidget items to help them calm down. \r\n\r\nBy far, the item that they love the most is the kinetic sand. While I do not put this out often, when I do, I see the joy that their faces show. This sand will meet their sensory needs, but it has also been a big help in teaching them the alphabet. \r\n\r\nThey also love the Spot books and plushies. The stories are a wonderful way to get them to learn about their emotions, and they love matching the plushie to the correct emotion. \r\n\r\nEverything has been well-loved and well-used. I cannot thank you enough for allowing me to give them these items.","fullyFundedDate":1753408686031,"projectUrl":"project/fidget-here-fidget-there-fidget-everyw/9465047/","projectTitle":"Fidget Here, Fidget There, Fidget Everywhere!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Earnshaw","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp3290595_orig.jpg?crop=1158,1158,x0,y301&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1753126237550","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3290595"},{"teacherId":6018002,"projectId":8470629,"letterContent":"Having a colored printer for the classroom has meant so much to my students. Now they are able to see our projects come to life! We did a Unit on the Roman Civilization. It really helped them to see the Coliseum in color. The colored printer has allowed my students access to many more materials. \r\n They have also loved having all of the cardstock. For Christmas, they used the cardstock to make ornaments for their parents as though they were trapped in a snow globe. My students and I are so grateful to have this wonderful addition to our classroom. \r\n Not only have these materials helped us by giving us cardstock, a colored printer and colored ink, your generous donation has also given us supplies that will last for many classrooms to come.
