Thanks to your kindness, we received binders, paper, manipulatives, and dictionaries that have already had a huge impact on our ESL learning environment.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the materials, their faces lit up with excitement and curiosity. Many of them had never had access to their own dictionaries or colorful manipulatives before. One student immediately opened a dictionary and began flipping through the pages, proudly reading out new words to the class. It was a small moment, but one that captured exactly why your contribution matters.\r\n\r\nWe've been using the binders to organize vocabulary journals and writing portfolios, which has helped students track their progress and take pride in their work. The manipulatives have become a daily part of our language and math stations—students love using them to build sentences, solve problems, and play games that make learning more interactive.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we're beginning a unit on community and communication. Students will use their dictionaries to explore key vocabulary and will work in small groups using manipulatives to build models of places in their neighborhoods. These materials have given us the tools we need to make lessons more engaging, hands-on, and accessible for all learners.\r\n\r\nYour support gave my students more than just supplies—it gave them a sense of being seen and supported. Your kindness helped create lasting memories and provided meaningful learning resources that will continue to support their growth.\r\n\r\nThanks to your support, each of my 3rd through 5th grade students received English dictionary coloring books and crayons-- a creative and engaging way to reinforce language skills while giving them something they can take home and continue using. For our graduating 6th graders, a class party and special memory bracelets were a huge hit. During our class party, we reflected on their growth and achievements, and the bracelets served as a tangible reminder of their hard work and the journey ahead. One student even said, \"I'm never taking this off—it reminds me I can do hard things.\"\r\n\r\nAs we wrapped up the school year, we also launched a \"Summer Reading Adventure\" project. Each student set personal reading goals, and we used the dictionary coloring books to build vocabulary lists based on their selected books. Your support helped us end the year with joy, but it's also fueling our students' continued learning into the summer.\r\n\r\nThank you again for making this possible. Every day, I work with between 30-45 students on English language acquisition, and our furniture was reflecting many hours of wear and tear. Your generosity has made our small group area safer, more engaging, and more comfortable for the students I serve. \r\n\r\nYou can't imagine how much joy it brought our class to open the boxes and discover six brand new stools inside! The excitement was so palpable that they broke into song; aptly, \"I Like to Move It, Move It\" from Zootopia. (Seems fitting!) Many hours of small group instruction later, I can confirm that the stools are not only comfortable and nice to look at, but they also help students get out any wiggles they may have brought with them. They are also very comfortable, allowing students to maintain focus and motivation while working together at our table.\r\n\r\nYou can't imagine how humbled and appreciative we feel, knowing that generous donors like you have remembered our little classroom in Dallas, TX.
