In my calculus classes, we started on day one doing warm-up questions in groups at whiteboards around the room. Each day, the students quickly gather at the whiteboard to complete their warm-up question during the passing period before the class even starts. Students of varying levels of achievement work together and help each other understand the content better. I believe that this has contributed to an environment in my classes where students freely discourse about the course content. It also contributes to a sense of belonging as all students have a group to which they belong and have the opportunity to let their voice be heard. Often during the class period students will head back to the whiteboards to work on additional practice problems. Students are more willing to take a risk and try to complete a problem when they are using a non-permanent medium like a whiteboard. \r\nThank you for the generous donation of the whiteboard. It is so special to my students that someone donated it for them to use.","fullyFundedDate":1753931371623,"projectUrl":"project/support-my-ap-calculus-students/9454767/","projectTitle":"Support my AP Calculus students","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Kelly","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-3_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10074784"},{"teacherId":4119465,"projectId":8910973,"letterContent":"As a high school girls basketball coach who just wrapped up an unforgettable season by winning the state championship, the generous donation of snacks to our program couldn't have come at a better time.
