I've had to stop kids from reading at times in order to complete a new lesson; but the kids have been working even harder to finish their assignments to get a chance to read a little bit more every day in their free time. \r\n\r\nI've had kids come up to me to thank me for providing them with their new books and how much they appreciate their new reading material. I've had to tell them and remind them that these gift's weren't just from me, but from you kind people to make my dream a reality. I have been able to create visual aids which the children can reuse to practice and achieve mastery of the subject area. Since the material is laminated it becomes more durable and can be reused multiple time without fear of damage. The children are also able to use dry erase markers to write on the laminated material and then can easily erase to make corrections or to reuse at a later time.\r\n The children in my classroom have various disabilities and the lamination material and other supplies have been useful to all of them in a variety of ways. It has been especially beneficial for those who are visual learners and need to hold and manipulate the material in order to better understand the information.
