We were able to utilize the materials, for example, the magazines as great resources for reading activities, as well as for science, and then take it further from what they learned there, and they wanted to learn more and had questions they wanted to research to find out even more information. So it helped to get their attention and keep their attention as they continued to learn. \r\nThere were many things covered, such as the magnets, and they learned so much from the hands-on activities. It also provided the items needed for the activities/experiments.
